Area of Potential Effects (APE). The APE includes a polygon of approximately 102.20 km² centered at 34.2393°, -112.7479° in Yuma County, Arizona.
Federal nexus. The APE intersects the following surface management jurisdictions: Private Land (Private); State Trust Land (State); Bureau of Land Mgmt. (BLM).
Flood hazard. The APE intersects FEMA flood zone(s) D, X.
Identified historic properties. The following NRHP-listed or eligible properties lie within or adjacent to the APE:
- Peeples Valley School (NRIS 07000991) — 5.55 km from APE centroid.
Section 4(f) considerations. 3 pre-1945 bridge(s) lie within 5 km of the APE; ADOT and FHWA Section 4(f) eligibility should be confirmed prior to construction.
ADOT historic / scenic route(s). Kingman to Wickenburg Highway and Hoover Dam to Kingman Highway; Kingman to Wickenburg Highway and Hoover Dam to Kingman Highway; Wickenburg to Prescott to Ash Fork Highway.
Determination. Based on the foregoing, SHPO concurs with a finding of NO ADVERSE EFFECT pursuant to 36 CFR 800.5.
This determination is non-final until concurrence is received from all consulting parties. Should the scope of the undertaking change, please resubmit for re-review per 36 CFR 800.13.
