The Arizona State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) has reviewed your wildfire fuels reduction submission for the above-referenced undertaking pursuant to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and its implementing regulations at 36 CFR Part 800.

Area of Potential Effects (APE). The APE includes a polygon of approximately 99.99 km² centered at 36.0199°, -111.1321° in Yuma County, Arizona.
Federal nexus. The APE intersects the following surface management jurisdictions: Navajo Indian Res. (Indian Lands); Hopi Indian Res. (Indian Lands).
Tribal consultation. The APE intersects sovereign tribal land(s): Navajo Nation; Hopi Tribe. Concurrent consultation with the appropriate Tribal Historic Preservation Officer(s) is required under 36 CFR 800.2(c)(2)(ii).
Flood hazard. The APE intersects FEMA flood zone(s) D.
Identified historic properties. No NRHP-listed properties were identified within the APE based on the submitted documentation and our current geospatial data.
Determination. Based on the foregoing, SHPO concurs with a finding of NO ADVERSE EFFECT pursuant to 36 CFR 800.5.
This determination is non-final until concurrence is received from all consulting parties. Should the scope of the undertaking change, please resubmit for re-review per 36 CFR 800.13.
