Area of Potential Effects (APE). The APE includes a polygon of approximately 101.17 km² centered at 35.0824°, -109.1447° in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Federal nexus. The APE intersects the following surface management jurisdictions: Navajo Indian Res. (Indian Lands).
Tribal consultation. The APE intersects sovereign tribal land(s): Navajo Nation. Concurrent consultation with the appropriate Tribal Historic Preservation Officer(s) is required under 36 CFR 800.2(c)(2)(ii).
Flood hazard. The APE intersects FEMA flood zone(s) D.
Identified historic properties. No NRHP-listed properties were identified within the APE based on the submitted documentation and our current geospatial data.
ADOT historic / scenic route(s). Douglas to Wilcox to Safford to Springerville to Sanders.
Determination. Based on the foregoing, SHPO concurs with a finding of NO ADVERSE EFFECT pursuant to 36 CFR 800.5.
This determination is non-final until concurrence is received from all consulting parties. Should the scope of the undertaking change, please resubmit for re-review per 36 CFR 800.13.
