Area of Potential Effects (APE). The APE includes a polygon of approximately 101.38 km² centered at 34.9098°, -109.7086° in Coconino County, Arizona.
Federal nexus. The APE intersects the following surface management jurisdictions: Private Land (Private); State Trust Land (State); Petrified Forest N.P (NPS).
National Park Service unit. The APE intersects the following NPS unit(s): Petrified Forest National Park. Coordinate with NPS Cultural Resources directly.
Flood hazard. The APE intersects FEMA flood zone(s) D, A (Special Flood Hazard Area).
Identified historic properties. No NRHP-listed properties were identified within the APE based on the submitted documentation and our current geospatial data.
ADOT historic / scenic route(s). Holbrook to Springerville to Alpine to State Line Highway; Ortega Lake to St. Johns Highway and Witch Well to Zuni Highway.
Determination. Based on the foregoing, SHPO concurs with a finding of NO ADVERSE EFFECT pursuant to 36 CFR 800.5.
This determination is non-final until concurrence is received from all consulting parties. Should the scope of the undertaking change, please resubmit for re-review per 36 CFR 800.13.
